Summer Camps

Adventure Camp

Bird watchingLooking to have an outdoor adventure close to home this summer?  Come to Adventure Camp and try out your outdoor skills with us and learn about fishing, wildlife ID, hiking, and more!  Friday evening during class the camper's immediate family will be invited to stay for an evening of fun.

Campers will be teaching their siblings skills they have learned throughout the week.  The evening will end with a campfire and s'mores.  Oliver Nature Park t‐shirt is included in registration.  Pre‐registration required.

  • Ages 7‐14 years ‐ July 31–August 4, 6‐9 pm - $80/$85

Forest Camp

Kids studyingStudents will learn all about the layers of the forest including the plants, animals, and insects that live there.  Each day we will study a specific layer of the forest: forest floor, herb layer, shrub layer, understory, and canopy.

Daily activities will include crafts, experiments, nature walks, games, and hands‐on nature exploration.  A snack related to the theme will be included each day.  Oliver Nature Park t‐shirt is included in registration.  Pre‐registration required by the Friday prior at 9am.

  • Ages 9‐13 years ‐ July 10‐14, 9:00 am ‐1:00 pm ‐ $100/$105
  • Ages 5‐9 years - July 17‐21, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm ‐ $75/$80

iNaturalist Camp

Join us for a photo‐filled morning and learn about becoming a citizen scientist.  This program is geared towards students 13‐16 years old who want to learn more about iNaturalist and build their knowledge of nature.  Students need to download the iNaturalist app to their smartphones prior to camp.  Pre‐registration required.
