All classes are held rain or shine.  Please dress for the weather.  If inclement weather occurs, our staff will contact you directly the day of the program to inform you of a cancellation.

Junior Geologist (5-14Y)

Visitors to Oliver Nature Park are often focused on the plants and animals that live there. But what lies beneath our feet when we visit? Join a naturalist for a geology-related lesson and a walk to explore the inorganic side of nature. Pre-registration required.

Fossil Finders (5-8Y)

What are fossils, and how are they made? What fossils can we find at the park?

Paleontology (9-14Y)

How are fossils formed, and what can they tell us about the history of the Earth?

Monarch Festival (All Ages)

Join us at Oliver Nature Park to celebrate the Monarch Butterfly. Activities will include games, crafts, nature walks, plant ID hikes, a butterfly release, and more. Pre-registration is not required for this FREE program.

Mother’s Day Craft (All Ages)

Making a hand-made gift for mother’s day really shows the love! Give mom a gift she can treasure forever. We’ll be making clay leaf prints, sun catchers, and bath bombs.
