All classes are held rain or shine.  Please dress for the weather.  If inclement weather occurs, our staff will contact you directly the day of the program to inform you of a cancellation.

Family Camping Trip (All Ages)

Spending time outdoors is easier than you think! This is a one-night workshop (9:30 am Saturday - 11 am Sunday) where each family (up to 4 people) gets a campsite with nearby restrooms, use of a tent, s’more supplies, and a campfire. Enjoy activities such as hiking and fishing during the camping trip. Registration required by Oct 12 at 9 am. Have the supplies but want to participate in the group activities? Girl Scout Classes (5Y+)

Location: Oliver Nature Park

From a blue sky to a bird's song, nature can give you lots of ideas for art! Get ready to explore the outdoors and use what you see and hear to make different kinds of art projects. We will complete all requirements to earn Daisy Scout badges (badge not included).  Students do not have to be in scouts to attend. Pre-registration required.  Register Now

  • Outdoor Art Maker - Friday, September 27th, 6-7 PM

Don’t you love the feel of the warm sun on your face? The sweet smell of a flower? The sounds of birds singing? Or the fun of walking on a trail?  Nature gives you many gifts! Now learn some ways you can give back by protecting nature. We will complete all requirements to earn Daisy Scout badges (badge not included).  Students do not have to be in scouts to attend.   • EcoLearner - Monday, November 11th, 4-5 PM 

Space scientists are people who study outer space—what’s in the sky. In this badge, you can be a space scientist as you look at the sky and talk about what you see! We will complete all requirements to earn Daisy Scout badges (badge not included).  Students do not have to be in scouts to attend. Pre-registration required.  Register Now

Hike with a Naturalist (All Ages)

Come enjoy Oliver Nature Park and learn about the wonders of nature on a guided hike with a Naturalist! Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. All participants over 2 years of age must pre-register. Each child/family must have at least one adult attending and registered for the program. We encourage nature walks for the whole family! Pre-registration required.

Parent’s Night Out (6-12Y)

Location: Oliver Nature Park

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to Oliver Nature Park for a night of FUN while mom and dad take a night off! Each class will have snacks + dinner, crafting, outdoor adventures, and a movie. Pre-registration required.  Register Now

  • Saturday, November 9th, 4-9 PM 

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to join Oliver Nature Park staff for a night of FUN while mom and dad take a night off! We will be doing fall themed painting, going on a night hike, and watching Pocahontas! We'll provide pizza and a drink! Children should be prepared for the outdoor adventure including proper shoes, insect repellent, and a jacket.

  • Saturday, December 7th, 4-9 PM 

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to join Oliver Nature Park staff for a night of FUN while mom and dad take a night off! We will be making a winter ornament, going on a night hike, and watching Frozen! We'll provide pizza and a drink! Children should be prepared for the outdoor adventure including proper shoes, insect repellent, and a jacket. 

$30/$32 per child. Save $2 with MAC membership.

Wild About Nature (2Y+)

Learn about the local wildlife living in Oliver Nature Park. Get an up-close look at animal specimens and meet our Wildlife Ambassadors. Registration fee covers one adult and one child. Pre-registration required.  Register Now
